Eat Simi Valley was created in an effort to bring the Simi Valley community together to talk about their favorite restaurants. We enjoy the community of Simi Valley and have lived here since 1974! We’ve got our favorites here in Simi and we’re hoping to find some more from our online guests. Plus, we’d love to provide a forum for business owners and their customers to meet! A dialog between restaurant owners and patrons is encouraged.
Eat Simi Valley is now and will always be a FREE public service for the community of Simi Valley!
Ratings are calculated and averaged in the body of the restaurant description as opposed to the more traditional style of listing the rating beside the name of each public reviewer. We’d prefer to publish an overall, average rating of all of our guests as opposed to calling out one or two bad experiences. We’re trying to be as fair as possible to store owners while providing a valuable service to the people of Simi Valley. We’re not 100% sure if we got it right and we’re open to trying new things as time goes on.

Not a darn thing! We want restaurants to get as much visibility and exposure at no cost. We can work with you if you want to advertise or expand your online presence, but we want you listed on this site as a complimentary service.
Q: Is this website sponsored by the City of Simi Valley?
The city does not sponsor or endorse this program. It’s privately managed and funded by people who think Simi Valley is a great place to live.
Q: My favorite restaurant does not show on this site. Can you add it?

Q: What’s stopping me from rating a restaurant multiple times?
Admittedly, we haven’t deployed Artificial Intelligence of any sort in our rating system. We make every effort to identify each unique session and halt duplicate ratings, though we won’t tell you that we’re 100% solid. We rate ourselves a B+ regarding duplicate rating prevention.
Q: I’m a restaurant owner and someone said something negative about his/her experience at my restaurant. What can I do?
This is an open forum, so you are encouraged to respond openly. Even a bad experience can be made right in everyone’s eyes if you handle it honestly and professionally. If you feel you are being unfairly targeted, we encourage you to contact us.
